In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
Fill each muffin liner halfway with the batter, add a teaspoon of the cream cheese mixture, and top with more batter.
Sprinkle chocolate chips on top and bake for 18-20 minutes until set.
Let cool before serving.
