Ingredients

  • 2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 pound fettuccine pasta
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Chopped parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper. In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat.
  3. Cook the chicken for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and fully cooked. Remove and let it rest before slicing.
  4. In the same skillet, melt the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until the sauce thickens.
  6. Add the cooked fettuccine to the sauce and toss to coat evenly.
  7. Slice the chicken and place it over the pasta. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
