In a large pot, brown the Italian sausage over medium heat. Remove and set aside.
In the same pot, sauté the onion and garlic until fragrant.
Add the chicken broth and bring to a boil. Stir in the ditalini pasta and cook until al dente.
Reduce the heat to low and stir in the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning.
Return the cooked sausage to the pot and let simmer for 10 minutes.
Season with salt and pepper. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
