In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.
Gradually add the warm milk, melted butter, and egg, mixing until a dough forms.
Knead the dough on a floured surface for 8–10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
Punch down the dough and divide it into 12 equal portions. Shape each portion into a ball and arrange them in a greased baking dish.
Cover and let the rolls rise again for 30 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake the rolls for 15–20 minutes or until golden brown.
Brush the hot rolls with garlic butter made by combining melted butter, minced garlic, and parsley. Serve warm.
