Ingredients

  • 4 cups (500g) bread flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp instant yeast
  • 1 3/4 cups (420ml) water, at room temperature
  • 1 tsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, salt, and yeast.
  2. Slowly add water while mixing until a sticky dough forms.
  3. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let it rest at room temperature for 18-24 hours.
  4. Dust a work surface with flour and gently turn the dough onto it.
  5. Fold the dough into a rectangle, then divide it into two equal pieces.
  6. Place each piece on a floured baking sheet and let rest for 1-2 hours.
  7. Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C) and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
