Ingredients

  • 4 cups shredded cooked chicken
  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 sleeve Ritz crackers, crushed
  • 4 tbsp butter, melted
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, combine shredded chicken, cottage cheese, sour cream, cream of chicken soup, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and shredded cheddar cheese.
  3. Mix until everything is well incorporated.
  4. Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix crushed Ritz crackers with melted butter. Sprinkle evenly over the casserole.
  6. Bake for 30–35 minutes or until hot and bubbly and the top is golden brown.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired and serve warm.
