In a large bowl, combine shredded chicken, cottage cheese, sour cream, cream of chicken soup, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and shredded cheddar cheese.
Mix until everything is well incorporated.
Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
In a separate bowl, mix crushed Ritz crackers with melted butter. Sprinkle evenly over the casserole.
Bake for 30–35 minutes or until hot and bubbly and the top is golden brown.
Garnish with chopped parsley if desired and serve warm.
