In a mixing bowl, whisk together milk, cream, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt until the sugar is fully dissolved.
Pour the mixture into the Ninja Creami pint container and place the lid on tightly.
Freeze the container upright for at least 24 hours.
After freezing, remove from freezer and install into the Ninja Creami machine.
Run the 'Ice Cream' function according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
If the texture is crumbly, add 1-2 tablespoons of milk and run the 'Re-spin' cycle.
Serve immediately or store in the freezer with the lid on.
