In another bowl, beat softened cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Spread evenly over the crust.
Layer sliced bananas over the cream cheese layer, followed by a layer of crushed pineapple.
Spread the whipped topping over the fruit layer.
Sprinkle chopped nuts over the top and drizzle with chocolate syrup.
Garnish with maraschino cherries.
Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
