Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 green bell pepper, diced
  • 1 yellow onion, diced
  • 2 cups uncooked penne pasta
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup shredded provolone cheese
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add the diced bell pepper and onion to the skillet. Sauté until softened, about 5 minutes.
  3. Stir in the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Add the beef broth and uncooked penne pasta. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer until pasta is cooked, about 12-15 minutes.
  5. Stir in the shredded provolone cheese until melted and creamy.
