Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp ginger, minced
  • 2 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1/4 cup water (optional, for sauce consistency)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, toss chicken pieces with cornstarch until evenly coated.
  2. Heat sesame oil in a pan over medium heat. Add chicken and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, and water (if needed).
  4. Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken and cook until the sauce thickens, about 2-3 minutes.
  5. Sprinkle sesame seeds and green onions over the chicken before serving.
