Preheat oven and bake sweet potato fries according to package instructions.
In a large skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
Add diced onion and cook until softened, about 3 minutes.
Stir in tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
Simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the mixture thickens.
Once fries are done, transfer to a serving platter and top with sloppy joe mixture.
Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the top and let it melt.
Garnish with sliced green onions and serve immediately.
