Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1 cup raisins

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, beat butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until creamy.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla extract, mixing well.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt. Gradually add to the wet ingredients.
  5. Stir in oats and raisins until evenly combined.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto prepared baking sheets, spacing 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until edges are golden brown.
  8. Cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
