Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20 blend)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese (optional)
  • Lettuce, tomato, onion (for toppings)
  • Condiments of choice (ketchup, mustard, mayo)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix gently without overworking the meat.
  3. Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape into patties, making a slight indentation in the center.
  4. Grill patties for about 4 minutes per side for medium doneness, flipping only once.
  5. During the last minute of cooking, add cheese slices if using.
  6. Toast the buns on the grill for a minute until golden brown.
  7. Assemble burgers with toppings and condiments of choice. Serve immediately!
