Ingredients

  • 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Powdered sugar for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate into triangles.
  3. Brush each triangle lightly with melted butter.
  4. In a small bowl, mix sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  5. Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture over each triangle evenly.
  6. Roll up each triangle from the wider end to form twists and place them on the baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Remove from oven and drizzle with vanilla extract or sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving.
