Ingredients

  • 1 pan of brownies, baked and cooled
  • 1 box (5.9 oz) instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 3 cups cold milk
  • 1 container (8 oz) whipped topping (like Cool Whip)
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
  • Optional: chocolate syrup, fresh berries, or crushed cookies for topping

Instructions

  1. Prepare brownies according to package directions or your favorite recipe. Let them cool completely and cut into cubes.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together pudding mix and cold milk for 2 minutes until thickened. Let sit for 5 minutes.
  3. Fold in half of the whipped topping into the pudding mixture to create a light mousse.
  4. In a large trifle bowl or glass dish, layer half the brownie cubes, followed by half of the pudding mousse mixture, and then half of the remaining whipped topping.
  5. Repeat the layers with the remaining brownies, mousse, and whipped topping.
