In a large pot over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess grease.
Add diced onion and garlic, cooking until fragrant.
Stir in tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, beef broth, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper.
Bring to a boil, then add uncooked macaroni. Reduce heat and simmer for about 15 minutes until pasta is tender.
Remove from heat and stir in shredded cheese if using.
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
